Chief Engineer (for 5 Star Resort Hotel)

Job Description
A resort chief engineer is required who will be responsible for maintaining and operating all physical aspects of a resort, including its structure, grounds, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, to ensure safety, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This role involves managing budgets, overseeing maintenance and repair projects, leading the engineering team, and implementing sustainability and asset management programs to protect the resort's assets and resources.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance
: Ensures the physical building structure, grounds, and all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are in good working order.Budget Management
: Manages the engineering budget, including planning for capital expenditures and controlling operational costs.Project Oversight
: Oversees new construction projects, renovations, and major repair work to ensure they meet deadlines and quality standards.Preventive Maintenance
: Implements and manages preventative maintenance programs to extend the life and reliability of the resort's equipment and assets.Safety and Compliance
: Enforces safety protocols, maintains safety equipment, and ensures the resort meets all regulatory requirements.Team Leadership
:Leads and supervises the engineering department, including hiring, training, and recognizing team members.Emergency Response
: Serves as a leader in the emergency response team for any facility-related incidents.Sustainability
:Focuses on energy conservation and other sustainable practices to reduce energy waste and minimize environmental impact.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
