Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary

Chief Editor

to lead the editorial strategy and execution for Money Petrol. The ideal candidate will not only excel in content planning and editorial management but also be comfortable representing the platform in front of the camera and across podcasts, establishing Money Petrol as a trusted media voice in Dubai and the wider region.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the overall editorial vision, ensuring impactful and engaging content. Lead, manage, and mentor the editorial team including writers, reporters, and producers. Host and anchor podcasts, interviews, and on-camera segments with confidence and authority. Conduct in-depth research and planning to deliver meaningful discussions and stories. Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, business owners, and investors for exclusive insights. Drive content strategy across digital platforms including website, YouTube, podcasts, and social media. Ensure accuracy, credibility, and adherence to journalistic ethics and quality standards. Stay ahead of industry and media trends to strengthen Money Petrol's thought leadership.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, or senior editorial/media role. Strong on-camera presence and podcast anchoring ability, with excellent communication skills. Skilled in podcast planning, interviewing, and research-driven content creation. Knowledge of social media strategies, content promotion, and audience engagement. In-depth understanding of business, investment, and financial landscapes (UAE market knowledge is a strong advantage). Exceptional writing and editing skills with an eye for accuracy and detail. Experience in digital media, video content, and multimedia journalism. Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and tight deadlines.
