Job Description
Chief Accountant Roles & Responsibility:
-ensuring the financial health of an organization through accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic
financial planning.
-deep understanding of accounting principles,
-ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
-Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
-Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
-Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
-Establish and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
-Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
-Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns.
-Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary.
-Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
-Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
-Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
