The Role

Position Title:

Chief Accountant - QSR Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 18K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Dubai, UAE About the Client: An iconic international fast-food brand : o Consolidate and update financial data for assigned SBUs; analyze trial balances, investigate unusual entries, prepare and validate variance reports, and submit monthly updates to the Financial Reporting Manager while collaborating with cross-functional teams. o Prepare and review statutory financial schedules and disclosures; coordinate with auditors during interim/year-end audits, address audit queries, and resolve management letter points. o Review and reconcile GL accounts, ensure compliance with accounting standards, perform monthly bank reconciliations, and propose adjustments or clean-up activities. o Summarize key transactions, validate insights for the Finance Head, and drive enhancements in reporting accuracy, detail, and process efficiency.



Requirements

Open to Arabic and Asian nationalities, 38 years old and below o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field and preferably with CPA, ACCA, CMA certification o At least 5 years of experience in the similar role from QSR/F&B/FMCG industry o Must have advanced knowledge of accounting principles and processes, statutory requirements and compliance, core business and financial concepts, internal controls and operational governance, financial/accounting systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), financial account management and reporting practices
