Job Description

1- Record and maintain all financial transactions in accordance with IFRS / accounting standards.

2- Manage AP/AR, supplier reconciliations, invoices, and payment schedules.

3- Prepare project-wise cost reports, monitor site expenses, and coordinate with project managers.

4 - Assist with monthly closing, bank reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.

5- Support cashflow preparation, forecasting, and petty cash control for construction sites.

6- Handle subcontractor payments, retention accounting, and progress billing.

7- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

8- Prepare required documentation for audits, management reports, and compliance.

9- Ensure all financial data is accurate, timely, and properly documented.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance.

8+ years of experience as a General Accountant, preferably in the construction industry.

Strong understanding of project accounting and cost allocation.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP).

Excellent skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.

Ability to coordinate with multiple sites and handle time-sensitive tasks.

Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
