A highly reputed and diversified group company is seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Accountant to lead and oversee its accounting operations across Bahrain, the GCC region, and the United Kingdom. Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of monthly management accounts Timely submission of reports to the management Compliance with Tax regulations Monitor the day-to-day operations of accounts department Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial planning Budget preparation and variance analysis reporting Ensure integrity of GL and Sub Ledgers Ageing Analysis of Accounts Receivable and Payables Handle the accounts up to finalization Bank, Customer and Suppliers reconciliations Intercompany Account reconciliation Maintain Fixed Assets registers VAT Return filing Coordinate Internal and Statutory audits Liaise with banks and other financial institutions. Reporting to the Financial Controller Requirements: Degree or Post graduation in Accounting or Finance, preferably CA, CPA or ACCA Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Office Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and communication skills Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
