Chief Accountant
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Chief Accountant with over 10 years of expertise in the accounting field to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional looking to step into a leadership position and make a significant impact on our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. Oversee the preparation, analysis, and presentation of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with local Bahraini regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS). Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency. Provide detailed analysis of financial performance and variance reports to senior management for strategic decision-making. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure all tax filings are in compliance with Bahraini tax laws and regulations.
