Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Bahrain and KSA accounting standards.* Oversee cost accounting and project-based financial tracking for ongoing contracts.* Handle VAT filing, and other statutory compliance requirements.* Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies for reporting and compliance.* Review and approve journal entries, expense reports, and reconciliations.* Monitor cash flow, forecast budgets, and support management with financial analysis.* Maintain and improve internal control systems and accounting processes.* Manage Accounts Payable (AP): review, approve, and process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate supplier records.* Manage Accounts Receivable (AR): issue invoices, follow up on collections, and reconcile customer accounts.*
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred).* Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, ideally in the construction or contracting industry.* Strong knowledge of Bahrain & KSA VAT laws, labor regulations, and financial reporting standards.* Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo experience is an advantage).* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.*
