Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Chief Accountant

to lead and manage our accounting operations. The job role includes accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial controls. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented with strong leadership skills, technical accounting expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, VAT, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards. Ensure timely closing of accounts and preparation of financial reports. Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits. Manage and monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle all tax-related matters (VAT, corporate tax, etc, according to UAE Law. Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making. Guide and mentor accounting team members, ensuring continuous development and performance improvement. Liaise with banks, auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred). Professional certification, such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA, is strongly preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations. Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
