Job Brief:

Our client is seeking a Chief Accountant to join their finance team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain cost accounting systems to track and allocate expenses accurately.

- Analyze production costs, overheads, and cost variances to identify areas for cost optimization.

- Prepare cost reports and provide cost-related insights to management.

- Analyze financial statements, reports, and data to assess the financial health of the organization.

- Maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.

- Stay up to date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

- Prepare and file VAT returns, corporate tax, and other tax-related documents.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards.

- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of Cost Accounting & Taxation.

- Chartered Accountant (Indian - CA) qualification is a must.

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.

- In-depth understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance.

- Proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
