Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Chief Accountant
to lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial matters. The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and local regulations.Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily accounting operations and financial reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Monitor and manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Lead budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control activities. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting records. Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Provide financial analysis and advice to support management decisions. Mentor and guide the accounting team to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
15 years of experience as a Senior Accountant Currently available in Qatar Transferable visa with NOC required
