Position Overview:

The Chief Accountant will oversee the complete financial management of the company -- from bookkeeping and compliance to audits and strategic reporting. This position demands a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the UAE trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the A to Z of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, general ledger, and reconciliations. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and audit requirements. Ensure Compliance with CORPORATE TAX regulations and audit requirements. Oversee inventory accounting, supplier payments, and inter-company transactions. Manage cash flow, payroll, and bank operations efficiently. Collaborate with management on financial planning and cost optimization. Supervise and mentor junior accountants to maintain accuracy and accountability.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE (trading/wholesale industry preferred). Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and standard accounting software. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and VAT. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Immediate joiners preferred.
