Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled
Chief Accountant
to join our team and lead the finance department with accuracy, integrity, and strategic insight.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP). Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders. Implement and improve internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's/Professional certification such as CPA/ACCA/CA preferred). Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks, SAP). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
