To ensure the Financial Statements of the Group fairly reflect all assets and liabilities, and the profit / loss account is a fair statement of the Groups operating income and expenditure. Verifying and analysing monthly financial statements. Conducting variance analysis to determine difference between forecast & actual results. Preparing monthly commentary on variance and highlighting major variance to Managing Director. Approving the CTC after verifying the accuracy of the report. Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities Reviewing the Job Cost financial report and discussing with project control and the project manager the reason for the variation. Analysing and recommending consolidated financial budget to the Managing Director (Income statement, Balance Sheet, & Cash flow) based on feedback from projects and department. Consolidating 5-year Business Plan based on information from Operations and Business Development departments submitting to Managing Director. To ensure that all reconciliation (includes Balance Sheet, Bank and G/L) is completed end of each month. To have periodic meetings with the Project Managers to ensure that the project is achieving the cash flow as forecasted. Monitoring weekly cash flow forecast and actual collection. Approving payment vouchers for suppliers, subcontractors, and employees. Reviewing Bank status reports both for funding and non-funding to ensure that collection is achieved as forecasted and guarantees are reduced or cancelled as planned.
