Plan analysis programs and participate in special test procedures to analyse chemical composition and physical properties of samples according to international testing standards and lab procedures for non-routing analysis. Develop, improve, and customize products, equipment, formulas, processes, and analytical methods. Job Specific Accountabilities

Support all activities in the laboratories, with regard to analytical determinations of all process stream and product samples using internationally accepted Standard Analysis Methods and to HSE guidelines. Follow established testing procedures and monitor results for accuracy and compliance with company specifications. Carry out special tests involving advanced techniques or modifications to traditional testing methods. Calibrate and monitor laboratory instruments to ensure testing accuracy. Prepare and standardize solutions and reagents, maintaining records. Monitor laboratory operations and report abnormal parameters to the Laboratory Section Head. Coordinate analysis schedules, test runs, shutdowns, start-ups, and inspections related to sludge and scales for corrosion control. Conduct installations, pre-commissioning, and commissioning tasks on new QC equipment projects. Maintain an optimal inventory of chemicals, testing apparatus, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety. Perform frontline maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Participate in preparing the laboratory's capital and operating budgets, and contribute to the 5-year plan. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or equivalent. Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
