Job Description

We are a well-established construction chemical and adhesive manufacturing company based in Al Ain, UAE. We are looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer with strong technical knowledge in construction adhesives and cementitious products to join our production and R&D team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in formulation, production, and quality control of construction chemical products.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, modify, and improve formulations for construction chemical products

Handle production and batch processing of:

Tile Adhesives (cementitious & polymer-modified)

Waterproofing systems (cementitious & bitumen-based)

Bonding agents

Admixtures

Grout powders

Crack fillers

Bitumen-based products

Monitor raw material selection and usage

Ensure consistent product quality and performance Coordinate with production, procurement, and QC teams

Maintain safety, MSDS, and compliance standards

Support troubleshooting during production issues

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

3-5 years experience in construction chemicals or adhesive manufacturing

Strong knowledge of:

Cement chemistry

Polymer additives

Bitumen systems

Waterproofing technologies

Experience in formulation, scaling, and batch production

Knowledge of quality control and testing methods

Ability to work independently and manage production targets

Preferred Skills (Advantage):

Experience in UAE or GCC market

Cost optimization and raw material sourcing knowledge
