Job description
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
  • Plan and prepare fresh dishes and meals daily
  • Ensure food preparation is consistent with quality standards & proper hygiene
  • Train other employees in cooking methods, presentation techniques, sanitation practices, and proper portion control
  • Control food costs by following purchasing specifications, product storage requirements, and waste control procedures
  • Maintains inventory levels and is responsible for food orders & purchases
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent food presentation skills
  • Good organizational and management skills
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or as a private chef
  • Plant-Based cooking training/courses
  • Culinary Degree is a plus
  • Speaks English
