Job Description

Chef (background in Patisserie and Bakery) : Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative dessert and baked goods menu ideas
  • Manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, baking, and presentation
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Plan and coordinate dessert production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Train and supervise all kitchen staff, including sous chef and assistants
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with the management team on menu development and special events
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Bakery in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage a team and train staff members
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and requirements
  • Creativity and a passion for creating high-quality desserts and baked goods
