A propos du poste


Rattache(e) au Responsable du Restaurant, le/la Chef de Rang assure une experience client exceptionnelle et garantit leur satisfaction. Notre client, une chaine de cafe/restaurant en pleine expansion, recrute pour une nouvelle ouverture. Vous coordonnerez les operations et superviserez le personnel junior pour maintenir des standards eleves.

Responsabilites principales



Offrir un accueil chaleureux et personnalise Fournir un service attentif et adapte aux besoins des clients Recueillir et suivre les retours clients Promouvoir les offres et suggestions du jour Participer aux operations de service et les coordonner Organiser et superviser le travail des serveurs juniors, apprentis et stagiaires

Duties Operationnelles



Mettre en place le point de vente et les arriere-zones avant le service Assurer le nettoyage et le rangement des espaces Verifier les plats, produits et stocks avant chaque service Adapter l'organisation selon le flux et le type de clientele Maintenir le materiel en excellent etat Collaborer avec les autres departements Developper les ventes via l'upselling Promouvoir les produits et services et encourager l'equipe

Objectifs du departement



Suivre les procedures de facturation et de paiement Reduire la casse en gerant correctement la vaisselle et le petit materiel Participer aux inventaires si necessaire Maintenir proprete & securite alimentaire selon les normes HACCP Respecter les procedures operationnelles et de securite

Qualifications & Competences



Experience en hotellerie ou restauration Diplome Bac+2 minimum en hotellerie Maitrise de l'anglais & du francais ; autres langues = atout Solides competences en vente et upselling Esprit d'equipe, initiative Leadership, professionnalisme et dynamisme

- 8h00 - 17h00
- 4 jours en semaine + 1 jour le week-end

About the Role



Reporting to the

Restaurant Manager

, the

Chef de Rang

is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience and ensuring optimal guest satisfaction. Our client is an expanding cafe/restaurant chain that is fulfilling positions in a new branch. You will coordinate service operations, and supervise junior staff to maintain the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities



Provide a

warm and personalized welcome

to customers. Deliver

attentive service

tailored to individual guest needs. Listen to and

follow up on customer feedback

.

Promote offers

and daily specials. Participate in and

coordinate service operations

.

Organize and supervise

the work of junior waiters, apprentices, and trainees.

Operational Duties



Set up the

point of sale and back areas

before service. Ensure

cleaning and tidying

of the dining room and back areas. Check

menu items

and

stock availability

prior to each service. Adapt organization and pace according to

customer flow and type

. Maintain

equipment

in excellent condition. Collaborate closely with other

departments

. Develop

sales and revenue

through effective upselling techniques. Promote products & services and encourage staff to do similar.

Departmental Objectives



Follow

billing and payment

procedures accurately. Ensure proper handling of dishes and small equipment to

minimize breakage

. Participate in

inventory

processes when required. Maintain

cleanliness and food safety

by strictly following

HACCP hygiene standards

. Adhere to all

operating and safety procedures

for the provided equipment.

Qualifications & Skills



Previous

experience

in hospitality or food service. Minimum

two-year post-secondary degree

in hospitality. Fluent in

English & French

; additional languages are a plus. Strong

sales and upselling

skills. Excellent

teamwork and initiative

team spirit, professionalism, and dynamism
