Chef De Partie (with Breakfast Chef experience)
Location: Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi
Department: Kitchen / Culinary
Reports to: Sous Chef / Head Chef
Job Overview:
As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, saute, pastry). Your specialized experience in breakfast service is crucial, as you will lead the preparation and execution of breakfast/brunch offerings, maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and speed during morning operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section according to standard recipes and specifications.
• Lead the breakfast shift, overseeing the preparation of all breakfast items including eggs, pastries, hot dishes, and smoothies.
• Ensure mise-en-place is completed for all stations before and during service.
• Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and trainees within your section.
• Monitor food stock, place orders, and minimize waste within your section.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness (HACCP).
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and cooked at correct temperatures.
• Collaborate with other sections to ensure timely and synchronized service.
• Assist the Sous Chef in developing new menu items, especially for breakfast/brunch.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of kitchen experience, with at least 1-2 years in a Chef De Partie or similar role.
• Demonstrable and significant experience as a Breakfast Chef is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment, with a focus on breakfast cuisine.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Creative, organized, and quality-driven.
