Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section according to the kitchen standards.
Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation are consistently excellent.
Supervise and train commis chefs or junior staff working in your section.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu planning, stock control, and kitchen operations.
Monitor portion and waste control to help manage food costs.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
Communicate effectively with the rest of the kitchen team and front-of-house staff.
Ensure all equipment is properly used, cleaned, and stored.
