Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook assigned dishes according to recipes and standards
Ensure correct portioning, presentation, and food quality at all times
Monitor and adjust temperatures of ovens, grills, and other equipment
Organize and maintain workstation setup ahead of service
Support the Chef with daily specials and leftover management
Maintain detailed food logs and follow food safety procedures
Assist in training new culinary staff and guiding junior team members
Communicate effectively during busy service periods
Ensure hygiene and sanitation of kitchen tools, equipment, and storage areas
Lift, move, and handle kitchen items as required
Ideal Profile
Technical, trade, or vocational culinary diploma preferred
Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience
Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Reliable, organized, and committed to quality
