Job Summary:

As a Chef De Partie in the Hot Section specializing in A La Carte service, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality hot dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. You will oversee a specific section in the kitchen, ensuring efficient food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety and hygiene regulations. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present hot dishes in the A La Carte menu, adhering to recipes and quality standards. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen team within your section. Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the restaurant's presentation and quality standards. Maintain mise en place for your section, ensuring all ingredients are prepared and stocked appropriately. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times. Monitor portion control and minimize waste. Assist in training junior kitchen staff and new team members. Collaborate with the Head Chef and other chefs to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes. Ensure the timely delivery of dishes to meet service standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station and the overall kitchen area. Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, especially hot section preparations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and teamwork skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.

Fast-paced kitchen environment. Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots or ingredients.
