We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Chef de Partie

to join our culinary team at a premium French cafe in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French cuisine and fine dining, with the ability to maintain high culinary standards and lead a section of the kitchen with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauce, pastry, meat, fish) and ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation. Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with the cafe's recipes and quality standards. Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and seasonal menus. Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen at all times. Ensure all mise en place is completed ahead of service and all ingredients are fresh and stored correctly. Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and trainees. Monitor inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the Sous Chef. Ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fine-dining or luxury hospitality environment. Specialization or strong knowledge of classic and modern French cuisine is preferable. Culinary degree or equivalent professional training. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

Previous experience working in international luxury hotels or Michelin-starred restaurants. Knowledge of French pastries and desserts is a plus. Multilingual skills (especially French or Arabic) are an advantage.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,750.00 per month
