We are seeking a skilled and creative

Chef de Partie - Pastry

to manage a specific pastry section and support the production of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods. The ideal candidate will ensure consistency, presentation, and hygiene standards while contributing to menu development and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and plated desserts. Manage the assigned pastry section and ensure smooth daily operations. Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Assist in menu planning, new recipe development, and seasonal offerings. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO). Monitor portion control and minimize wastage. Supervise and guide commis chefs and pastry assistants. Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely service.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie - Pastry or Senior Pastry Commis. Formal culinary or pastry qualification is an advantage. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational and time-management skills. Team player with a positive attitude. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
