Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, audits, tax compliance, budgeting, and financial analysis to support sound business decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). Manage general ledger operations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. Conduct internal and external audits; liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities. File tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws (e.g., GST, VAT, Income Tax). Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management. Monitor and improve financial controls and processes. Provide strategic financial advice and risk analysis to support business planning. Assist in the preparation of business plans, feasibility studies, and investment analysis. Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent). Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role (typically 2-5+ years depending on seniority). Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High attention to detail and integrity.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in [industry-specific area, e.g., manufacturing, banking, consulting]. Knowledge of ERP systems and data analytics tools. Leadership or supervisory experience (for senior roles).
