Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounts for companies in the UAE, demonstrating exceptional financial expertise and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivables.

Prepare timely financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and petty cash accounting.

Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and financial regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.

Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning reports.

Liaise with auditors and consultants to support statutory audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.

Review and process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and contractor payments.

Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Support senior management with financial insights and ad hoc reports as needed.

Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.

- Minimum 5 years of working experience in managing accounts of companies in the UAE.

- Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.

- Proficient in accounting software PACT and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
