. The ideal candidate will lead organizational change initiatives, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless transitions in compliance with Qatar's healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement
change management strategies
for healthcare operations, focusing on
medical coding, claims processing, and preapproval workflows
.
Train and mentor
medical coders
and preapproval teams on new systems, protocols, and compliance standards (e.g.,
ICD-10, CPT, HIPAA, and Qatar MOPH guidelines
).
Collaborate with IT, finance, and clinical teams to integrate new technologies (e.g.,
EMR, RCM software
) and streamline revenue cycle processes.
Analyze KPIs to identify gaps, reduce claim denials, and improve preapproval turnaround times.
Lead stakeholder communications to ensure adoption of changes with minimal disruption.
Ensure alignment with
Qatar's healthcare policies
and payer requirements (e.g., NHIC, private insurers).
Requirements:
8-10 years of experience
in healthcare change management, with
3+ years in medical coding/preapproval training
.
Expertise in
medical coding standards (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
and insurance preapproval processes.
Proven track record in
RCM optimization
and implementing EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
Certification in
change management (Prosci, CCMP)
and/or
medical coding (CPC, CCS)
preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of
Qatar's healthcare laws
and insurance landscape (NHIC, Daman, etc.).
