Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Abu Dhabi for a Certified Medical Coder. The Certified Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately translating medical procedures, diagnoses, and symptoms into medical codes for billing and tracking purposes. They will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with applicable coding standards and regulations. Qualifications
# Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
# Familiarity with medical coding software
# Demonstrated expertise in ICD (International Classification of Diseases)-10-CM, CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), and HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System) coding guidelines and standards
# Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals
# Bachelor\'s degree with Certifications in Medical Billing and Coding, or a related field
