Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and certified

Hoist Elevator Operator

to manage the safe and efficient vertical transportation of personnel, materials, and equipment on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety protocols and a proven track record in operating hoisting machinery in compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Hoisting Equipment:

Manage hoists, winches, and elevators to lift and move materials and personnel as per project requirements.

Pre-Operational Inspections:

Conduct daily safety checks and inspections of hoisting equipment to ensure optimal functioning.

Load Management:

Calculate load weights, ensure proper rigging, and secure loads to prevent shifting or accidents during movement.

Communication:

Coordinate with ground personnel using hand signals, radios, or other communication devices to ensure safe operations.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication and minor repairs, and report any malfunctions to the maintenance team.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere strictly to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications

Certification:

Valid Hoist Operator Certification recognized in the UAE (e.g., CPCS or equivalent).

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years operating hoisting equipment in construction or industrial settings.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

Strong understanding of hoisting techniques, load calculations, and safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads as necessary.

Communication:

Proficient in English; ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
Preferred Attributes

Familiarity with different types of hoisting equipment, including tower cranes and mobile cranes. Additional certifications in safety management or equipment operation. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
