Assume responsibility for all aspects of the coffee production.
Be capable of completing and overseeing all daily operations of the coffee bars at all locations.
Oversee all barista employees, including: hiring and terminations, performance and pay reviews, job descriptions and responsibilities, training and continuing education, discipline and commendation.
Management of baristas: customer service, preparation and presentation of beverages and information, operational procedures, merchandising.
Management of back of house operations: payroll, scheduling, ordering, and sales and profitability contribute ideas as far as operational flow.
Be “on-call” with the responsibility to respond to problems or fill-in when needed.
Cultivate a professional, friendly, efficient work environment
Proactive training staff to maintain and uphold all company and café policies.
Handle customer complaints with professionalism and tact

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication and teaching skills Infectious love of coffee.

A high degree of ethics and obsession with customer service
Excellent time management skills and ability to self-direct when necessary
High level of organization
Adaptability and the ability to creatively troubleshoot difficult situations
Superior leadership capabilities; ability to work well within groups
At least 3 years of experience in specialty coffee and the coffee industry
Focused perspective on what a high-functioning coffee bar looks like and how to execute that perspective
A passion for small business and quality products
Be a model barista, both as far as bar skills, customer service and enthusiasm to share knowledge
Detail-oriented
Previous management experience.
