Internal Verifiers (IV) in Tourism and Hospitality Field
to support our training and quality assurance processes. Ideal candidates will have practical knowledge in their vocational area and a strong understanding of assessment and verification practices.
Key Responsibilities
For Assessors - Tourism & Hospitality:
Assess learners in line with awarding body and industry standards.
Provide constructive and relevant feedback to support learner progression.
Accurately maintain learner records and monitor progress.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure consistent and high-quality assessment delivery.
For Internal Verifiers (IVs) - Tourism & Hospitality:
Conduct internal verification of assessment decisions to ensure fairness and consistency.
Support assessors through standardization meetings and ongoing guidance.
Monitor assessment practices to ensure compliance with regulatory and awarding body guidelines.
Promote continuous improvement in assessment and quality assurance processes.
Requirements:
A current assessor qualification.
A current internal verifier qualification (for IV roles).
Demonstrated occupational competence in your area of delivery.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
Experience using e-portfolio systems or working remotely is a plus.
Previous experience working with awarding bodies is beneficial.
Willingness to travel, if required.
