Job Brief:

The CPU Manager will have overall accountability and responsibility for leading the company\'s Central Production Unit (CPU) to support the operational needs of its expanding chain. The role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient, safe, and profitable execution of all aspects of the food production operation within the CPU, including purchasing, storage, preparation, cooking, packaging, and distribution of a range of ambient, chilled, and frozen dishes or ingredients to various outlets.

Job Responsibilities:
Overall Production:

- Be responsible for the overall production of quality products that meet the Company\'s operational goals.

- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to team members to ensure that food quality, standard operating procedures, sanitation, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, productivity, and customer service are met.
Operational Management and KPIs:

- Establish and manage manufacturing KPIs such as CPU productivity, safety, quality, cost, and delivery, taking corrective actions as needed.

- Ensure the schedules of the people, facility, equipment, materials, and documents are established and maintained to support the capacity/throughput of the facility.

- Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production and quality.

- Identify and mitigate risks in manufacturing operations that could negatively impact the delivery of safe and quality products.
Quality Assurance and SOPs:

- Develop, implement, and maintain the SOP of each production workstation and the HACCP System.

- Foster a \xe2\x80\x9cDo the thing right at the first time\xe2\x80\x9d culture and execute the manufacturing unit by providing direct training, guidance, and problem-solving.

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repair on equipment; ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and perform periodic safety checks.
Team Management and Development:

- Recruit, train, and manage new staff to meet operation targets.

- Mentor and develop exceptional individual contributors and front-line leaders.

- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure that all operational goals are met.
Menu Development:

- Coordinate with the Managing Director, Head Chef, Cost Control, and Marketing to develop and implement new menu ideas.

- Ensure the alignment of menu offerings with the company\'s brand and customer expectations.

Job Requirements:

- A Bachelor\'s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience are required.

- Experience in a leadership position during a manufacturing plant start-up is a plus.

- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control for food manufacturing is required.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic math skills is required.

- Extensive knowledge of SOPs, GMPs, and HACCP is preferred.

- Demonstrated success in developing/implementing continuous improvement initiatives and accountability programs is a plus.

- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task effectively.

- Ability to develop work standard manufacturing procedural documents.

- Strong leadership experience/people managerial, strong verbal and written communication.
