is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. The CDP ensures smooth kitchen operations during service and supports junior staff in delivering consistent, high-quality fast-food items.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook fast-food menu items such as burgers, sandwiches, fries, wraps, salads, and beverages.
Ensure all food is prepared according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
Maintain food presentation and quality standards at all times.
Ensure proper stock management, rotation (FIFO), and minimal wastage.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and workstations.
Comply with all food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Train and supervise Commis and Kitchen Assistants as required.
Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely food delivery during peak hours.
Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the Head Chef.
Follow all company policies, SOPs, and kitchen operating procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
CDP or Demi CDP
in a
fast-food or quick-service restaurant (QSR)
.
Strong knowledge of fast-food preparation, portion control, and food safety.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
Skills:
