Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of artisenal baked goods while ensuring high standards of quality and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and Baking
: Prepare and bake a wide range of bakery products, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and techniques.Menu Development
: Collaborate with management to create and develop new recipes and menu items that meet customer preferences and seasonal trends.Quality Control
: Ensure that all baked goods meet the establishment's quality standards for taste, appearance, and freshness.Inventory Management
: Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock.Sanitation and Safety
: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment.Required Skills and Qualifications
Culinary Skills
: Proficiency in baking techniques and knowledge of various baking ingredients and equipment.Creativity
