Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

CCTV Technician

to install, maintain, and repair closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and other related security systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics, networking, and surveillance system installation.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems and related security hardware (cameras, DVR/NVRs, monitors, etc.). Run cables, connect systems, and ensure proper integration of surveillance equipment. Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV systems, including camera lens issues, power supply failures, or signal loss. Perform routine system inspections and preventive maintenance. Configure and troubleshoot IP-based systems and ensure network connectivity. Maintain records of installations, repairs, and service calls. Provide technical support and training to end-users when necessary. Ensure all installations comply with industry safety standards and company protocols. Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project managers to meet deadlines and requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CCTV technician or in a similar role. Solid understanding of CCTV systems, IP cameras, networking, and cabling. Familiarity with tools and equipment used for CCTV installation and maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Willingness to work at heights and in various environments. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license (if fieldwork is required).

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or certification in electronics, IT, or a related field. Knowledge of alarm systems, access control, and other security systems. Industry certifications (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, or similar).
