Job Description

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in security systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access control and fiber optic networks. This role involves installing, configuring, and repairing security and networking equipment to ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain

Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Systems

. Conduct

fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing

using OTDR and power meters. Troubleshoot and repair

network and security system issues

, ensuring minimal downtime. Perform

cabling, wiring, and infrastructure setup

for security and networking solutions. Integrate access control systems with other security solutions such as

biometric and RFID systems

. Conduct periodic

maintenance, inspections, and testing

of installed systems. Ensure all installations comply with

SIRA guidelines and industry best practices

. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver solutions that meet their security and networking needs. Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, service reports, and technical issues. Provide technical support and training to end-users on installed systems.

Requirements:

Proven experience in

access control, security systems, and fiber optic installations

. Strong knowledge of

fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting

. Familiarity with

network infrastructure and structured cabling

. Hands-on experience with brands such as

Hikvision, Axis, Bosch, Honeywell, Paxton, Suprema, or similar

. Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Knowledge of

electronic security systems, TCP/IP networking, and low-voltage cabling

. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid

UAE driving license

(preferred).

Education & Experience:

Diploma or Certification in

Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field

. Minimum

2-5 years

of relevant experience in the security or networking field.
