Job Duties:

Cable Pulling:

Proficient in structured cabling, containment installation and management

IP CCTV Installation:

Expertise in installing and configuring IP-based CCTV systems and network.

Access Control System (ACS):

Skilled in ACS installation and configuration Multi skilled technician to carry out fault diagnosis, remedial repairs, calibration and planned preventative maintenance of the IT/ELV systems. The typical equipment being IP CCTV systems, Security systems, Security Gates, Central Battery System, and Lighting control system and associated equipment and associated equipment. Will have to work under the directions of the Project Manager Will work across a range of technically complex and sensitive IT/ELV Systems in a university environment. Will carry out remedial repairs and preventative maintenance of IP CCTV systems, Security systems, Security Gates, Central Battery System, and Lighting control system and associated equipment and associated equipment. Will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of build sites, including leading and managing a laborers/helper on site as assigned. Will coordinate with Site Supervisor on all sub-contractor scheduling and material ordering. Will ensure to build site, has tools and materials needed for day's task Will be responsible for taking deliveries of materials and supplies; ensures all tools and materials are maintained and safeguarded. Will adhere to safety policy and practices, and create a positive and encouraging work atmosphere. Will be available after hours, as is reasonable, for emergencies. Oversee the activities and performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project quality requirements. Assist in reviewing project drawings and specifications to gain a full understanding of project scope, client goals and expectations, and resource requirements for each phase of the project Preparing project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements. In Charge for On-site assessment prior to commencing work to ensure that the job is ready, and addressing any concerns. Monitoring complete project progress; coordinating activities with the technicians, client and contractors; resolving problems. Controls project costs by reviewing and monitoring project expenditures. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions. Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, project practices, HSE policies, performance standards and specifications. Do task responsibly as assigned by the Project Manager. Can perform site surveys for new project tenders

Skills and Qualifications:

Degree graduate of any IT related field. With at least 2-3 years of Technician works and ELV Project Supervision.

Reporting Skills

Ability to provide project reports in most effective presentation.

Quality Assurance experience Health & Safety Training Experience in low-voltage systems and networking. MCC experience/MCC Certified Driving License (Preferred)
