Job Description

We are seeking a CCTV Operator to monitor and operate closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to ensure the safety and security of people, assets, and premises. The role includes real-time surveillance, incident detection, reporting, and the retrieval of recorded footage to support investigations or legal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor multiple CCTV feeds for suspicious activities or security breaches. Operate and control CCTV equipment, including zoom, tilt, and focus functions. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities and incident reports. Review recorded footage to support internal investigations or law enforcement. Identify and report equipment faults or system errors to the technical team. Ensure CCTV operations comply with relevant data protection regulations and internal policies. Collaborate with law enforcement and authorized personnel as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in CCTV, surveillance, or similar security role. Proficient in operating CCTV systems and basic IT functions. Strong observational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to remain focused and effective under pressure or in stressful situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable with prolonged periods of screen monitoring.

Experience:

* cctv operator: 3 years (Preferred)
