POSITION : CCTV Controller

JOB PURPOSE:

The CCTV - Close Circuit Television Controller is responsible for monitoring all activities from a centralized control room relating to activities in and around the warehouse, facilities adjacent as well as equipment relating to safety & security of the facility including fire systems. To ensure integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of all information gained in compliance with quality standards and legislation whilst preserving the rights of the individual. The controller assists the Security Manager in the planning, coordination, organisation, staff supervision and quality controls for the Security operation in order to effect optimum protection of visitors, Staff, Assets (tangible and intangible). The CCTV controller reports to the Safety & Security Supervisor on site.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : Typical duties included are but not limited to:

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure that the Security Operation runs strictly and accordingly to the prescribed security standards and policies of Aramex.

\xef\x82\xb7 Initial registration, investigation and conclusion of incidents & or accidents reported.

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure all registers in place in CCTV is up to date and all equipment in excellent working order.

\xef\x82\xb7 Rotation and mobilization of guards to be monitored

\xef\x82\xb7 Instruct guards with regards to certain duties via warlike talkie or other communication available

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure they are trained in dealing with emergency situations and that it is documented with HR department

\xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of fire systems & equipment as well as location of alarms

\xef\x82\xb7 Knows how to deal with crisis situation at facility

\xef\x82\xb7 Undergone official training by vendor in CCTV system Incidents handling

\xef\x82\xb7 Communicate all irregularities or incidents immediately to his direct management. Systems

\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure all systems e.g. CCTV, DVR\'s monitors, access controls are in working order.

BASIC/ JOB REQUIREMENTS :

\xef\x82\xb7 High school, college diploma or junior college.

\xef\x82\xb7 Good Command of English.

\xef\x82\xb7 MS Applications: (Word, Excel & Outlook).

\xef\x82\xb7 Certified CCTV controller by any establishment or police organization, 1st Aid Training and Certified fire fighting training.

\xef\x82\xb7 3 years experience as a CCTV Controller in reputable organization with clear track record is preferable
