The Role




IPEC Ltd group are currently going through a fantastic period of growth, and to manage the project backlog, sustain the growth we are looking for a "CBM Testing Engineer".


We are looking for a capable CBM Testing Engineer to perform annual maintenance testing, diagnostic assessment, and pre-commissioning testing of electrical assets. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality condition-based monitoring services to customers across Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities



Perform CBM testing on electrical assets, including transformers, switchgear, protection relays, cables, and auxiliary systems. Conduct annual maintenance testing and pre-commissioning testing according to project requirements and international standards. Operate CBM diagnostic tools and instruments (e.g., PD testing, insulation analysis, DGA sampling, relay testing, etc.). Prepare detailed technical reports, test results, and recommendations. Support troubleshooting, fault analysis, and condition assessment of HV/MV/LV equipment. Ensure the safe execution of all testing activities according to company and customer HSE guidelines. Maintain testing equipment, tools, and calibration records. Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure smooth execution of site tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements



Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (mandatory). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electrical CBM testing or related field. Practical knowledge of electrical testing standards (IEC, IEEE, NETA, etc.). Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as: + Partial discharge testers
+ Insulation resistance testers (IR/PI)
+ Transformer testing sets
+ Relay test sets (OMICRON / ISA)
+ Cable testing and VLF testing systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites across Saudi Arabia. * Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills.
