About the Role:

Al Masaood Energy is currently recruiting experienced and highly motivated

CATHODIC PROTECTION (CP Technician)

to be a part of a great team based at Abu Dhabi, UAE. If successful, you will be responsible for welding projects base/site

Required Qualification:

The Candidates shall hold 3 years Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy or Equivalent Engineering Diploma with a minimum 8 years' experience in Oil and Gas fields.

The scope, skills and experience of CP Technician shall cover the following:

Cathodic protection systems operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic instruments. Cathodic protection surveys e.g. potential survey, close interval survey, ACCA/ACVG, DCVG Survey and interference tests. Good Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Standards CP systems equipment maintenance such as T/R, Solar CP Controllers, CP Solar Batteries and CP Cables. Conduct Soil Resistivity using Wenner Four Pin/Three pins or Geonic Survey using EM-34 as per specific field requirement Knowledge and Experience in installation of Various CP Anode Configurations, Reference electrodes and CP Coupons. Good MS Office, SAP, ONE APM and PC skills, Knowledge of AMPP (NACE), BS and ISO CP Standards is desirable. Shall have AMPP(NACE) certification for CP Level-1, however, CP Level-2 is preferrable
