The Catering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing catering events to ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating staff, managing budgets, liaising with clients, and ensuring events run smoothly from planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage catering events such as weddings, corporate functions, parties, and conferences
Meet with clients to understand event requirements, menus, budgets, and timelines
Create event proposals, contracts, and cost estimates
Coordinate food preparation, presentation, and service standards
Schedule, train, and supervise catering staff and temporary workers
Work closely with chefs, vendors, and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery
Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown on-site
Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
Handle customer feedback, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships

Education and Experience

Experience managing staff and budgets is an advantage
