Job Description

Job Summary:
The Catering Manager will oversee all aspects of industrial catering operations, ensuring high-quality service, cost efficiency, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale catering, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of food service management in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities: * Operations Management:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily catering operations in an industrial environment (factories, corporate cafeterias, etc.).
  • Ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently while maintaining quality, hygiene, and nutritional standards.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimize costs without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff, including chefs, servers, and cleaning personnel.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement staff development programs.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations:
  • Liaise with clients (e.g., corporate management, industrial site supervisors) to tailor menus and services to their needs.
  • Address complaints promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Analyze financial reports to ensure profitability.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO 22000, local health codes).
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments for hygiene and workplace safety.
  • Innovation & Improvement:
  • Introduce new catering concepts, menu options, and sustainable practices.
  • Leverage technology to streamline operations (e.g., digital ordering, waste management systems).
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in catering management, with industrial catering experience mandatory.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Expertise in budgeting and cost control.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and industrial catering logistics.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certifications: Food Handler's License, HACCP, or similar is a plus.
