Role Description

This is a temporary role for a Cashier located in Dubai. The Cashier will be responsible for managing transactions with customers, processing payments, verifying and adjusting discrepancies, balancing the cash register, issuing receipts, and assisting customers with inquiries. Additional duties may include maintaining the cleanliness of the front area and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process orders and payments accurately and efficiently. Accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment and issue receipts promptly. Verify the cash in drawers at the start of shifts to ensure accuracy and sufficient change. Ensure compliance with restaurant cash handling policies and procedures to minimize errors and discrepancies. Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Issue trading stamps and redeem food stamps and coupons. Resolve customer complaints. Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures or policies. Calculate total payments received during a time and reconcile this with total sales. Compute and record totals of transactions. Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions. Work closely with restaurant staff to maintain a cohesive team environment and deliver excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with colleagues to facilitate smooth operations during peak dining hours and shift changes

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
