As a Cashier / Crew Member, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive experience for customers by providing excellent service and supporting day-to-day restaurant operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders.
Provide knowledgeable answers to menu-related questions.
Ensure that customers feel welcome and valued throughout their dining experience.
Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately, including cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payment methods.
Ensure correct change is provided and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and report any discrepancies to management.
Assist with food preparation and ensure that orders are correctly prepared and packaged.
Support kitchen staff with assembly and presentation of menu items.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Take customer orders accurately, either in-person or via phone, ensuring all details are captured clearly.
Communicate orders effectively to kitchen and food prep staff.
Ensure that orders are served on time and meet quality standards.
Keep the front-of-house area, including counters, dining area, and restrooms, clean and tidy.
Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed.
Suggest menu items, specials, or upgrades to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Promote loyalty programs and special offers to encourage return visits.
