Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Assist customers with any questions about products, promotions, or store policies.
Provide an exceptional customer service experience by ensuring that customers are satisfied and feel valued.
Operate the cash register, scanning items, and ensuring accurate pricing.
Accept various forms of payment (cash, credit cards, mobile payments, etc.).
Issue receipts and change, providing a smooth transaction process.
Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the start and end of each shift.
Keep track of any discrepancies and report them to the supervisor.
Safeguard cash and sensitive financial information.
Occasionally assist in restocking shelves or organizing product displays.
Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and clutter-free.
Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policies.
Verify items and receipts before processing returns or issuing store credit.
Inform customers about promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers.
Upsell or cross-sell products when appropriate to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
