We are looking for a dynamic and reliable

Cashier / Sales Executive

to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is not only good with numbers but also has a knack for customer service and a basic interest in construction products.

About the Role:

You will be a key point of contact for our customers, which include contractors, builders, and DIY enthusiasts. Your role is dual-focused: to manage the point-of-sale with precision and to provide knowledgeable sales support, ensuring a seamless and helpful customer experience from inquiry to checkout.

Key Responsibilities:

Cashier Duties:

Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently using our POS system. Handle cash, credit card, and invoice payments with integrity. Generate invoices and ensure all paperwork is complete and filed correctly. Answer incoming calls and direct queries to the appropriate department. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and checkout area.

Sales Executive Duties:

Provide product information, availability, and basic technical details to assist customers in their selection. Actively promote ongoing promotions, new arrivals, and complementary products to increase sales. Develop a basic understanding of our key product categories to offer genuine assistance. Coordinate with the warehouse team to check stock levels and ensure order accuracy. Follow up on customer inquiries and build strong, professional relationships with our clientele.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum of a high school diploma.

1-2 years of experience in a similar cashier/sales role, preferably within a building materials store, hardware store, or related retail environment.

Basic knowledge of building materials (e.g., types of tiles, lumber, hardware) is a

significant advantage

. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for handling transactions and invoices. Excellent communication skills in

English

. Knowledge of

Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu

is a major plus. Customer-oriented with a positive and helpful attitude. Presentable appearance and professional demeanor. Must be reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and available to work weekends if required. Candidate must be residing in the UAE and available to join immediately.
