Job Description

A Cashier handles customer transactions at the point of sale. They receive payments, issue receipts, process refunds, and provide excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling cash and electronic payments.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide a friendly shopping experience
Operate cash registers, process cash, credit, and check transactions
Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers
Maintain accuracy in handling cash and balancing the cash drawer
Scan goods and ensure pricing is correct
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
Assist in inventory control by reporting low stock or damaged goods
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and security
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
