MADO Restaurant is looking for a reliable and customer-focused
Cashier
to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently, providing excellent service, and supporting front-of-house operations.Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with billing and payment. Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions. Operate the POS system and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Ensure the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of shifts. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any billing issues professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter. Coordinate with waitstaff and management for smooth operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant or cafe. Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling. Strong communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Presentable and professional attitude.
